SYNOPSIS
Lonely TV weatherman Sean is taking time off after an on-air meltdown and decides to repaint the deck in his East Los Angeles house. He drives past a middle-aged Latino migrant worker standing outside a hardware store looking for work and decides to hire this kind-looking man ostensibly to do the deck work – but also to be his friend. Sean is young, gay and white. Ernesto is portly, straight and married. Despite having nothing in common and speaking different languages, they build a sort of friendship. But all is not well with Sean who becomes consumed with a deeper obsessive need.
